Description

Introducing the Omegon 126/920 EQ-3 telescope, your perfect gateway to exploring the wonders of the night sky. With its impressive light-gathering capacity, delving into the realm of deep-sky objects becomes a seamless journey. Whether it's marveling at Saturn's majestic rings or gazing at the ethereal beauty of the Ring Nebula, located 2300 light years away, the Omegon 126/920 opens up endless possibilities!

Optics and Tube:

Featuring a 126mm aperture, this telescope offers a remarkable 22% increase in light collection capacity compared to its smaller 114/900mm counterpart. With optics gathering 320 times more light than the naked eye, this telescope promises extraordinary celestial observations. While maximum magnification isn't always crucial, under optimal conditions and with suitable eyepieces, you can achieve an impressive effective magnification of up to 250 times. This level of resolution and magnification allows for discerning significant features on planetary surfaces. Equipped with a 1.25" focuser, the telescope accommodates all standard eyepieces with ease.

EQ-3 Mount:

Mounted on a parallactic EQ-3 mount, the Omegon 126/920 ensures celestial bodies remain centered in your field of vision. Aligned with the Pole Star, which always points north, the EQ-3's two axes (declination and right ascension) are crucial for precise alignment with heavenly bodies. Once an object is centered, the integrated fine adjustment mechanism maintains its position effortlessly. Offering greater stability than its EQ-2 counterpart, the EQ-3 mount minimizes vibrations, providing a secure hold for the longer-than-average barrel and enhancing your observing experience.

Ideal for visual observations and introductory astrophotography, the telescope is supported by an aluminum tripod, offering a stable base for high-quality observations. The tripod's adjustable height (72 - 124 cm) ensures optimal viewing for astronomers of all ages, while a practical eyepiece tray provides convenient storage for accessories and charts.

Advantages:

Red dot finder facilitates easy celestial object location.

Stable secondary mirror spider vanes ensure reliable performance.

1.25" focuser accommodates standard eyepieces and filters effortlessly.

Collimation adjustment screws for precise alignment of secondary and primary mirrors.

The EQ-3 Mount:

Enables precise alignment with Polaris for accurate tracking.

Adjustable pole height and latitude for versatile observation sites.

Fine movements along right ascension and declination axes for precise object tracking.

Counterweight ensures telescope balance for smooth operation.

Sturdy base suitable for smaller and medium-sized telescopes, perfect for celestial exploration.

Extendable tripod with shelf for accessory storage completes the setup.
