The VX series of telescopes combines the key advantages of the high-quality CT series at a more accessible price point. With VX telescopes, you get the same premium optics found in the CT series, complete with a Zygo interferometer report for quality assurance.

Each model comes equipped with a straight 50mm finder and a quality 2" focuser (including a 1.25" adapter). The lightweight aluminum tube makes VX telescopes easy to mount, while the precision-engineered, fan-cooled, 9-point suspension mirror cell ensures optimal support and cooling for the main mirror, maintaining its accuracy during extended observations.

N 150/750 telescope: This versatile Newtonian reflecting telescope offers both beginners and experienced astronomers ample light gathering power and stability at an affordable price. With its generous 150mm diameter, it reveals distant Deep Sky Objects (DSOs) like the Ring Nebula in Lyra and the Dumbbell Nebula with stunning clarity. Globular clusters such as M13 resolve into individual stars at their edges, while planetary observations reveal rich detail in images of Saturn, Jupiter, Venus, and Mars. The f/5 focal ratio categorizes this reflector as a 'fast' Newtonian telescope, making it particularly suitable for astrophotography. The light gathering capacity of the 150 is 460 times greater than the naked eye alone (with a 7mm fully dilated pupil).

Standard or Long? The telescopes in this series offer a choice between short and long focal lengths. The short version, with a camera adapter and camera, excels in photographing Deep Sky objects, while the Long (L) version provides stunning visual images at higher magnifications and is ideal for planetary and lunar photography.

Mirror Cells: The VX telescopes feature a computer-optimized, anodized aluminum surface cell with a built-in cooling fan (12V DC). Its 9-point, nylon66-tipped suspension system evenly distributes the load of the mirror, ensuring optimal support.

Focuser ACU-2S: This high-quality 2” (50.8mm) Crayford focuser offers ultra-smooth operation, with a lower geared 10:1 ratio micro-adjustment for precise focusing with an eyepiece or camera. Ideal for small to medium-sized cameras, including DSLRs and medium format CCD chips, its knurled knob securely tightens the draw tube, ensuring sharp, flawless images.
