TS Optics N 203/800 Carbon Photon OTA Telescope

The N 203/800 telescope optics boast remarkable speed, making them an ideal choice for astrophotography. Thanks to its shorter exposure time compared to systems with higher focal lengths, this Newtonian telescope, especially when equipped with the optional coma corrector, transforms into a true astrograph.

Unlike other telescope designs that require significant investment in lenses to minimize color errors, the Newtonian design of this telescope produces images with no such errors.

With its 8-inch (approximately 203 millimeters) aperture, visual observations of nebulae and galaxies are immensely enjoyable. The included extension tubes ensure reaching the correct focal position.

Featuring an integrated fan for rapid cooling to ambient temperature, this telescope offers efficient temperature management for prolonged observation sessions.

Despite its substantial aperture, the 8-inch model remains relatively easy to transport and only demands a medium-sized mount for stability.

The working distance from the M48 thread is 55 mm, allowing for convenient astrophotography using DSLR cameras with automatic adjustment using a T-ring.

Carbon Fiber Tube:

This apochromat, though suitable for visual observing, was primarily developed for astrophotography. Leveraging the advantages of a carbon fiber tube, it is exceptionally lightweight, making it suitable for use on smaller mounts. The tube also ensures high inherent stability and minimal thermal expansion, crucial for maintaining focus stability throughout the night. Additionally, the carbon fiber dew shield, easily extendable, enhances durability. Moreover, the tube's interior is lined with black felt.
