Achieving precise polar alignment is often time-consuming and prone to disruptions. iOptron's Center-balanced Equatorial Mounts (CEM), like the CEM25 and CEM60, feature an accessible polar scope for quicker alignments. However, conventional methods still require bending or kneeling to perform the alignment.

The PoleMasterTM electronic polar scope simplifies this process by aligning with the true north point and matching it with the rotation center of your R.A. axis. It utilizes a highly sensitive camera to capture images of the northern sky, detecting both Polaris and faint nearby stars. With sophisticated algorithms, the PoleMaster calculates the true position of the North Pole and the rotation center of the R.A. axis. It then marks these points on the computer screen, allowing you to adjust the mount until they overlap, ensuring accurate alignment.
