iOptron's latest mount boasts a maximum payload capacity of 12kg, achieving an impressive weight-to-payload ratio of 2:6.

This optimized ratio is achieved through iOptron's innovative center-balanced equatorial mount (CEM) design, which channels both mount and payload weight directly to the tripod's center, ensuring a naturally stable center of gravity.

Expanding on the success of previous CEM models, the CEM26 now features integrated WiFi functionality and recordable periodic error correction (PEC), enhancing convenience and performance.

Functionally, the CEM26 excels in precise pointing and accurate tracking of celestial objects, setting a new standard for compact, medium-sized GoTo equatorial mounts.

The center-balanced design not only enhances stability but also facilitates astrophotography, while additional features like an adjustable counterweight bar prevent obstruction with the tripod, especially when near the horizon.
