Another standout feature is the ultra-quiet, low-power consumption stepper motor drive systems. Both models of the CEM40 are precise trackers, with the CEM40-EC version delivering <0.25 arcsecond accuracy thanks to its high-resolution encoder and real-time periodic error correction (RPEC).

Available in two versions, with or without encoders, the mount tracks your optics precisely in the night sky. The variant with high-resolution encoders (EC) on both axes achieves an accuracy of less than 0.25 angular seconds and corrects the periodic screw error in real time, eliminating the need for guiding in astrophotography.
