Introducing the newest addition to iOptron's lineup, the CEM70 mount! Building upon the success of its predecessor, the CEM60, this mount brings forth a plethora of innovations in the same size class.

The CEM70 maintains the signature appearance and functionality of the renowned CEM mount series, standing for center-balanced equatorial mount. This design principle ensures an exceptional ratio of load capacity to mount weight, reaching an impressive 2.3 for the CEM70. Essentially, this mount can carry more than twice its own weight, making it ideal for both mobile applications and observatory setups.

Powered by stepper motors and a toothed belt drive system, the CEM70 guarantees high precision in GoTo mode and notably accurate tracking with a periodic error of less than +/- 3.5 arc seconds, all while maintaining the whisper-quiet operation characteristic of iOptron mounts.

The CEM70 is offered in two versions:

Standard Version:

• Integrated iPolar camera replaces the traditional polar finder, facilitating precise alignment via laptop.
• Stepper motors (1.8° with 128 microsteps) ensure accurate pointing and tracking.
• Go2Nova 8407 hand controller features a built-in heater to prevent condensation on the large display.
• 32-channel GPS enables automatic initialization of GoTo function based on current location and time.
• Advanced cable management with accessory connectivity options.
• Dual mount saddle accommodates both Vixen and Losmandy standard dovetail plates, with a secure 20-centimeter length.
• Large rotary knobs for easy operation, even with gloves.
• Both versions support connection to an autoguider via ST-4 interface for precise tracking control during long-exposure imaging.

CEM70G Version:

• Includes integrated iGuider autoguider, eliminating the need for a separate solution.
• Built-in WLAN (WiFi) and fast USB 3.0 interface for seamless communication with external computers.
• Offers astrophotographers a powerful tool with unparalleled versatility and payload capacity.
• Both versions of the CEM70 come in a robust transport case for easy transportation and storage.
