Leveraging insights from the development of the CEM series, iOptron has trimmed unnecessary bulk, endowing the GEM45 with an astounding 2.8 payload to mount weight ratio. Weighing just 15.8 lbs, this compact mount adeptly executes precise GOTO commands and effortlessly tracks with up to 45 lbs of gear onboard.

Equipped with an integrated electronic polar scope (iPolar), polar alignment becomes a breeze, even in the absence of the pole star. Large levers on the quick-lock drive engagement system facilitate seamless gear engagement, even with gloved hands. The GEM45's internal advanced cable management system minimizes the risk of cable snags.

Featuring the patent-pending Universal Self-Centering Saddle (USCS), the GEM45 accommodates both Losmandy and Vixen style dovetail plates. Utilizing reliable stepper motor drive systems with low power consumption technology ensures consistent performance.

Boasting a vast 212,000+ object library with star identification, GPS, and optional Wi-Fi compatibility (requires iStarFi adapter), the GEM45 offers unparalleled functionality.
