The iOptron HEM27 mounts offer the excellent features of a "large" equatorial mount and, thanks to Harmonic Drive technology, can be used without the need for counterweights or a counterweight shaft. Despite its lightweight design of only 3.7kg, it can support a maximum load of up to 13.5kg. This provides HEM mounts with an exceptional weight-to-load ratio, alongside remarkable features such as permanent periodic error correction (PEC), automatic mount stopping during power outages with seamless restart capability, precise tracking even without guiding, internal cable management, and a dual prism clamp for Vixen and Losmandy rails. Crafted from high-quality CNC machined and anodized materials, these mounts also feature the tried-and-tested iOptron Go2Nova 8409 software, built-in WiFi, and iOptron’s exceptionally quiet drive.
