This kit allows you to convert your mount's transmission from a gear system to a toothed belt. The belt drive enhances tracking and eliminates backlash, resulting in more precise and quieter operation of your mount.
The pulley ratio of the belt is the same as the original gear ratio, ensuring that the SynScan hand controller continues to function as before without any impact from this upgrade—all SynScan features will operate just as they did prior to the conversion.
