The Sky-Watcher Star Adventurer Mini Wi-Fi (SAM) is a highly precise, compact camera tracking platform that excels in both long-exposure astrophotography and time-lapse photography, suitable for use during both day and night.

SAM is conveniently portable, easily fitting into a backpack or camera bag, making it an ideal travel companion for adventures in remote locations.

The device features built-in WiFi and is compatible with the free Star Adventurer Mini Console App for both Android and iOS, allowing for seamless remote control via a smartphone. Setting up and operating SAM in its various modes is straightforward.

Although it can support larger camera lenses, SAM is particularly well-suited for widefield astrophotography with standard camera lenses of 55mm focal length or shorter. This is due to its simple rough polar alignment requirement, making it accessible even for amateur photographers with little to no astronomy experience.

The Star Adventurer Mini Wi-Fi Astro Set includes the SAM mount, a polarscope with an illuminator, a dovetail L-bracket, and an equatorial wedge. Shutter release cables for Sky-Watcher compatible with most major camera brands can be purchased separately.
