The Hyperion Zoom Eyepiece, now in its fourth generation, offers a versatile range of five magnifications in a single eyepiece, with focal lengths spanning 8, 12, 16, 20, and 24mm. This model boasts an enhanced click-stop detent design and an expansive apparent field of view up to 68°.

Key features of this high-quality zoom eyepiece include:

• Telescope Connection: Compatible with both 2" and 1.25" barrels, fitting standard telescope focusers and all 1.25" bino-viewers. It also includes a 1 and 3/8" spotting scope thread.
• Camera Compatibility: Features an M43 camera/video adapter thread for both afocal and classic projection photography, facilitating connections to most cameras.
• Visual Use: Comes equipped with three different eyecups that attach over the M43 thread: a large height-adjustable eyecup, a smaller rubber eyecup, and a fold-down winged eyecup.

This Barlow lens seamlessly attaches to any Hyperion 8-24 mm zoom, maintaining excellent on-axis and field sharpness, with options for both 1.25" or 2" connectors.

Coating and Optical Performance:

• Baader Phantom Group Coating™: This 7-layer broadband anti-reflection coating is engineered to minimize residual reflections, effectively enhancing visibility in low-light conditions. Optimized for peak human eye sensitivity around 520nm in the green region of the spectrum, these coatings are almost colorless, ensuring minimal light loss and preventing scattered light interference.

If you notice a strong green reflection on a lens, it is not from the Baader Phantom Group coating, as such reflections suggest outdated technology that inefficiently reflects light in the vital spectral range of 500-550nm.
