Renowned for their expansive apparent fields of view, super wide-angle (SWA) eyepieces have long been esteemed for offering an immersive "spacewalk" experience akin to gazing through a spaceship window.

Enhanced Performance for Fast Telescopes

The latest Omegon SWA eyepieces boast a contemporary design and upgraded internal architecture, representing a significant departure from earlier models. They now feature enhanced rubber armor for superior grip and redesigned eyecups, offering not just convenience but also heightened comfort during observations.

Optical Precision

Featuring five glass elements arranged into three or four groups depending on focal length, the Omegon SWA eyepieces deliver a generous 70° apparent field of view with exceptional edge definition and minimal distortion. Designed to accommodate relatively fast, short-focus systems, these eyepieces provide an immersive viewing experience without the need for constant adjustment.

Advanced Coating Technology

Equipped with a new wide-band multi-coating, these eyepieces achieve even higher light transmission, resulting in brighter, clearer images. Blackened lens edges and an effective internal baffle system minimize scattered light, ensuring high-contrast views with reduced reflections.

Wide Selection of 2" and 1.25" Eyepieces

The Omegon SWA series comprises six eyepieces: 38mm, 32mm, 26mm, 20mm, 15mm, and 10mm. The 38mm, 32mm, and 26mm variants feature 2" barrels, making them ideal for deep-sky observation and providing expansive true fields of view. The shorter focal lengths (20mm, 15mm, and 10mm) come with 1.25” barrels. All eyepieces in this series are parfocal, eliminating the need for frequent refocusing when switching between them.
