XF-Series

Crafted for compatibility with PENTAX PF-65EDII and PF-65EDAII spotting scopes, the smc PENTAX XF8.5, XF12, and XF Zoom Eyepiece 6.5mm-19.5mm feature multi-coated optical elements, boasting an American-standard 31.7mm (1.25 inch) sleeve and focal lengths optimized for outdoor pursuits and birdwatching.

The XF8.5 and XF12 present standard unifocal eyepieces, delivering focal lengths of 8.5mm and 12mm, respectively, with magnifications of 46 and 32.5 times. Offering a generous 60-degree apparent field of view and a comfortable 18mm eye relief, they incorporate an extendable eyepiece ring with four click-stop positions.

The XF Zoom Eyepiece 6.5mm-19.5mm encompasses a focal-length range from 6.5mm to 19.5mm, providing magnifications from 20 to 60 times. Its apparent field of view ranges from 42 to 60 degrees, coupled with an eye relief of 11mm to 15mm. Designed for ease of use, it features a user-friendly rubber eyepiece ring that maintains warmth and minimizes the risk of scratching eyeglasses.

All these eyepieces include a filter-mounting screw and an adapter-mounting screw, incorporating up to 8 lens elements in 4 groups. Fully blackened interiors minimize internal reflections, while ED-glass elements, including Lanthanum glass, reduce chromatic aberration and maximize balanced transmission. Additional lens elements diminish spherical aberration, preventing the "black-out" effect.
