XF-Series

Tailored for compatibility with the PENTAX PF-65EDII and PF-65EDAII spotting scopes, the smc PENTAX XF8.5, XF12, and XF Zoom Eyepiece 6.5mm-19.5mm feature multi-coated optical elements, an American-standard 31.7mm (1.25 inch) sleeve, and focal lengths ideal for outdoor exploration and birdwatching.

The XF8.5 and XF12 offer standard unifocal options, delivering 8.5mm and 12mm focal lengths, respectively, with magnifications of 46 and 32.5 times. Boasting a generous 60-degree apparent field of view and a comfortable 18mm eye relief, they feature an extendable eyepiece ring with four click-stop positions for precise adjustments.

The XF Zoom Eyepiece 6.5mm-19.5mm covers a focal-length range from 6.5mm to 19.5mm, offering magnifications from 20 to 60 times. With an apparent field of view ranging from 42 to 60 degrees and an eye relief of 11mm to 15mm, it includes a user-friendly rubber eyepiece ring that remains comfortable to touch, minimizing the risk of scratching eyeglasses.

These eyepieces also include a filter-mounting screw and an adapter-mounting screw. Featuring up to 8 lens elements in 4 groups, they are fully blackened internally to minimize reflections. Incorporating ED-glass elements, including Lanthanum glass, they reduce chromatic aberration and enhance balanced transmission. Additional lens elements reduce spherical aberration, mitigating the "black-out" effect.

With a 70° apparent angle of view and a comfortable 20mm eye relief, they ensure maximum usability and viewing comfort. Further, boasting JIS 4 weatherproofing, they withstand outdoor wet conditions or nighttime dew. Additionally, the twist-up rubber eyecup enhances user comfort.
