An improvement over its predecessor, the Atik EFW2.2 boasts a new mechanical indexing system for filter positioning, ensuring consistent alignment for flat field framing. This precision is crucial for maintaining uniform optical characteristics across flat field frames, crucial for accurate dust removal and handling.

Featuring a sleek design, the EFW2.2 sports a slim and lightweight profile. Notably, the distance between any Atik camera and the wheel is minimized to 0mm while still allowing rotational flexibility for the camera.

The additional backfocus required to accommodate the EFW2.2 is only 22mm. Particularly noteworthy for Atik 383L+ users is the short distance from filters to the CCD, enabling the use of popular 1.25" filters with this sensor down to f/5 without significant vignetting.

Filter disk options include 5x50.8mm, 5x2” mounted, 7x36mm, and 9x1.25” mounted. The EFW2.2 comes with an ASCOM-compliant driver for compatibility with any compliant software. Additionally, it can be easily controlled using Atik's Artemis Capture software, offering straightforward and efficient operation.

The EFW2.2 is supplied with your choice of carousel, and separate carousels are available for users who wish to switch between them.
