This UBVRI photometric filter set comprises five round mounted filters, available in both 1.25" and 2" sizes: ultraviolet (U), blue (B), visual (V), red (R), and infrared (I).

Crafted with precision, the Optolong 1.25" or 2" UBVRI Filter Set features high-quality brand glass, meticulously coated with ion-assisted deposition technology. This ensures exceptional scratch resistance and stability around the central wavelength (CWL). Specifically designed for compatibility with color filter wheels accepting 1.25" or 2" round mounted filters, this set offers versatility in various astrophotography setups.

Quality Filter Materials:

• Utilizes premium brand substrate material from Germany, 1.85 mm thick.
• Applies multiple layers of anti-reflection non-cementing coatings using electron-beam gun evaporation with ion-assisted deposition.

Quality Finish:

• Filter substrate undergoes fine-optical polishing to achieve 1/4 wave surface accuracy with <30 arc seconds deviation from parallelism across both surfaces.
• Surface quality meets MIL-O-13830 standards, boasting a rating of 60/40.
• Optolong's planetary rotation system ensures a uniform and precise coating procedure, optimizing both pass-band transmission and off-band optical density.
• Each filter is packaged in a plastic case with high-pressure EVA lining for added protection.

It's important to note that this filter must never be used as the sole solar filter.
