Description
The self-Barlow attachment is a circular device featuring a white screen on the front and a compact built-in Barlow lens at its center. Designed to be screwed into the aperture of the Howie Glatter laser collimator (available separately), this attachment offers a streamlined approach to Barlow-collimating.
Similar to standard Barlowed laser collimation, the attachment projects a shadow onto the front screen, making adjustments at the scope's focuser end straightforward. However, adjusting the mirror at the back of the scope can pose challenges, particularly with reflectors sporting longer focal lengths.
