The tuBlug offers a convenient solution for those aiming to Barlow-collimate their primary mirror from the rear of the telescope, particularly applicable for solid tube Newtonians or situations where adjusting the shroud is impractical.
Functioning as a Barlowed laser plug (Blug), the tuBlug incorporates its own lens and shadow screen, fitting neatly into a side cut-out tube, thus forming the tuBlug assembly. Operating on the Barlowed laser principle, it projects the silhouette shadow of the primary mirror's collimation mark onto its white screen. This alignment allows for precise collimation of the primary mirror. Available in 1 1/4" and 2" sizes, the tuBlug is compatible with any focuser and can be paired with any well-centered laser collimator.
