The Pegasus FocusCube is purpose-built to meet these exacting standards.

Crafted with precision and outfitted with state-of-the-art electronics, the FocusCube offers seamless digital focus control directly from your PC. Housed within its compact enclosure are sophisticated electronics and a stepper motor engineered for absolute position focusing.

Despite its compact dimensions, the FocusCube boasts impressive strength, effortlessly supporting over 6kg of imaging equipment even when your telescope is pointed at the zenith.

The included high-resolution geared stepper motor (with a Step Angle of 7.5 degrees, Deg 120, Gear Ratio 1:120) ensures minimal backlash and high torque, enabling micron-scale focusing accuracy.

Setting up the FocusCube is straightforward: attach it to your refractor, reflector, or SCT telescope, connect the power and USB cables, and download the ASCOM drivers or standalone software. You'll be ready to focus with ease!

Additional features include:

• Two bracket versions: Choose between the Universal bracket, compatible with most focusers on the market, or the Celestron SCT Bracket (SC, EdgeHD, RASA).
• Temperature Probe: Monitor the precise environmental temperature with the supplied one-meter digital probe, allowing for adjustments based on real-time data.
• ASCOM support: Fully compatible with ASCOM 6, ensuring seamless integration with astronomy software.
• INDI compliance: The Pegasus driver is included with libindi >= 1.5.1, facilitating compatibility with INDI for open astronomy instrumentation.
• Standalone program support: Operate the FocusCube using standalone software, available exclusively for Windows.
• USB cable included: A 1.8m USB Type B cable is provided for convenient connectivity.
• Firmware upgrade support: Effortlessly upgrade the controller firmware via the USB 2.0 connection using upgrade software, ensuring compatibility with future enhancements.

Important Note: The FocusCube is a standalone device with integrated controller functionality. No physical hand controller is required. The RJ45 port is dedicated to the temperature probe.
