Celestron Reducer 0.7x EdgeHD 1400

This reducer maintains optical integrity while also offering sufficient back focus for various photographic equipment, unlike typical universal reducers.

Featuring lenses with extreme refractive indices, including lanthanum lenses with minimal dispersion, the 0.7X EdgeHD reducer preserves the exceptional contrast characteristic of Edge HD optics. Even with multiple lenses in the light path, chromatic aberration is absent across a broad spectral range.

To maximize light transmission and color fidelity, each glass/air surface in this lens system is multi-coated, while meticulous blackening of all lens edges effectively eliminates internal reflections.

The precisely CNC-machined aluminum housing guarantees accurate spacing and proper alignment of the lenses. Additionally, a metal screw cap is included to safeguard the Edge-HD reducer from dust and damage when not in use.
