With StellarMate X, you enjoy unparalleled freedom in selecting your preferred platform for remote equipment control. You can employ Ekos astrophotography tool on Windows, MacOS, or Linux, or utilize the StellarMate App on iOS and Android to automate your entire astrophotography workflow. Operating StellarMate X is straightforward:

1. Connect your equipment (Mount, Camera, DSLR, Focuser, Filter Wheel, etc.) to StellarMate X via USB or WiFi.
2. Connect to StellarMate X from your Mobile, Tablet, or Laptop/Desktop Computer.
3. Initiate control of your observatory and imaging from any major platform.

StellarMate X operates quietly with no moving parts, offering four times the speed of its predecessor, StellarMate Plus. With double the storage and memory capacity, it facilitates fast and seamless control, even for demanding high-resolution astro cameras. It features a specialized VESA mount for secure attachment to standard dovetails and clamps.

Mount Adapter:

Secure the included mount adapter to the back of StellarMate X with two M3 screws. The adapter provides threads for connection to external rings or dovetails using the included 4x M6 screws. It's recommended to use the Ikarus Universal Vixen/Losmandy Clamp (sold separately) for attachment to your Vixen/Losmandy dovetail.

Mount Connections:

Depending on your mount, you may need to purchase additional cables to connect the mount to StellarMate X. Mounts connected over WiFi or USB typically do not require special cables.

Learning StellarMate:

For new users, mastering StellarMate may require a learning curve due to its extensive features. Video tutorials and manuals are currently available only in English, making it ideal for English-speaking and computer-savvy users.
