Description

Introducing the Omegon Microspeed 50mm guide scope and the Omegon Pro Guide 1200 M Mono guider, this set simplifies astrophotography and reduces equipment requirements.

The Mini Guide Scope streamlines the process, offering the functionality of a traditional guide scope but with enhanced ease and portability. Previously, bulky guide scopes were necessary for locating guide stars, but with modern astronomy cameras, this is no longer the case. Simply attach the mini guide scope to your telescope like a finder, or utilize it as a large finder scope for quicker object location during visual observation.

Key Advantages:

  • Rapidly locate astronomical objects and guide stars
  • Suitable for both visual and photographic use
  • Compatible with any 1.25-inch eyepiece
  • Worm-gear focuser enables swift and precise focusing while preventing rotation of the camera and eyepiece.

What sets our Omegon guide scope apart?

Featuring a built-in worm-gear focuser with 10mm displacement, the Omegon guide scope allows for meticulous focus adjustment without rotation of mounted equipment or the field of view. Its robust black anodized aluminum housing ensures durability, while the milled and knurled focusing ring facilitates straightforward and precise fine focusing. Complete with matching tube clamps and a Synta-style mounting plate, assembly and disassembly are effortless.

The Omegon Pro Guide 1200 Camera serves as a compact autoguiding solution, ideal for novice planetary, lunar, and deep-sky astrophotographers.

Planetary and Lunar Astrophotography:

Perfect for beginners, this camera enables the capture of detailed images of celestial bodies such as Jupiter, Saturn, and lunar craters, akin to what is observed through an eyepiece. Share your astronomy experiences with friends and family or engage in live observations together.

Deep-Sky Astrophotography:

Thanks to its high sensitivity CMOS chip, capturing images of nebulae and galaxies is more accessible than ever. The sensor's high quantum efficiency and low read noise allow for the portrayal of intricate details beyond the reach of visual astronomy.

Autoguiding:

With its high sensitivity CMOS sensor, the camera effortlessly finds suitable guide stars across the sky. Utilize short exposure times and high guiding frequencies to correct even minor tracking errors of your mount. Native compatibility with PHD2 and an inbuilt ST4 Guide-Port make it an ideal choice for autoguiding.

Functional Design:

Crafted from anodized aluminum, the camera's sturdy body resembles a 1.25-inch eyepiece, ensuring compatibility with all telescopes without adding excessive weight. Its front features a C- & CS-Mount thread or, through an adapter, a regular 1.25-inch filter thread, allowing direct attachment of small CCTV lenses or a variety of astronomical filters.

Transmission:

Equipped with a filter window to shield the sensor chamber from dust and humidity, the camera also includes an infrared-blocking filter for accurate color representation in color cameras. For mono cameras, an anti-reflection window transparent to a wide range of wavelengths enables unrestricted control over the transmission curve, essential for advanced imaging and photometric applications.

Compatibility:

The Omegon Pro cameras seamlessly integrate with a plethora of astrophotography programs through common interfaces such as ASCOM and INDI, with native compatibility expanding to programs like PHD2 and N.I.N.A.
