Description
The Omegon Pro GUIDE 1200 Camera stands as a compact Autoguiding solution, ideal for those stepping into planetary, lunar, and deep-sky astrophotography.
For Beginners in Planetary and Lunar Astrophotography:
This camera offers an entryway into the captivating realm of solar system astrophotography. Capture stunning images of Jupiter, Saturn, or lunar craters, sharing these celestial experiences with friends and family. Alternatively, enjoy live observations of the Moon and planets together on-screen.
Deep-Sky Astrophotography:
Thanks to its modern CMOS chip's high sensitivity, imaging Nebulas and Galaxies is now more accessible than ever. Despite the challenges of capturing faint objects, this camera's high quantum efficiency and low read noise reveal intricate details unseen through visual astronomy.
Autoguiding:
With this camera, finding a suitable guide star across the sky is effortless. Its high sensitivity CMOS sensor enables guiding with short exposure times and high frequencies, correcting minor mount tracking errors. Native compatibility with PHD2 and an inbuilt ST4 Guide-Port make it an ideal autoguiding tool.
Functional Shape:
Crafted from sturdy anodized aluminum, this camera boasts a shape resembling a 1.25" eyepiece, ensuring compatibility with any telescope without adding undue strain. Equipped with a C- & CS-Mount thread, or via adapter, a regular 1.25" filter thread, it allows direct attachment of various lenses or astronomical filters.
Transmission:
A filter window shields the sensor chamber from dust and humidity. While the Omegon Pro color cameras feature an infrared-blocking filter for accurate color representation, the mono cameras sport an anti-reflection window transparent to a wide range of wavelengths, offering control over transmission curves for advanced imaging.
Compatibility:
Compatible with a range of astrophotography programs via interfaces like ASCOM and INDI, this camera is also native-compatible with software like PHD2 and N.I.N.A.
