Description

Introducing the Mini Guide Scope – streamlining astrophotography while reducing the need for extensive equipment.

This compact guide scope revolutionizes the task traditionally performed by 'classic' guide scopes, offering a lighter and more user-friendly alternative. In the past, lengthy and cumbersome guide scopes were relied upon to locate guide stars. However, with advancements in modern astronomy cameras, this arduous process is no longer necessary. Simply attach the mini guide scope to your telescope like a finder, and you're ready to go.

Alternatively, it doubles as a convenient, large finder scope, minimizing the time spent locating objects during visual observation.

Key Advantages:

  • Mini guide scope facilitates swift location of astronomical objects and guide stars
  • Designed for both visual and photographic applications
  • Compatible with any 1.25-inch eyepiece from your collection
  • Worm-gear focuser ensures rapid focusing while preventing rotation of the camera and eyepiece

What sets our new Omegon guide scope apart?

Featuring a built-in worm-gear focuser with a 10mm displacement, the Mini Guide Scope allows for precise focus adjustment. Its fixed orientation prevents rotation of mounted cameras, eyepieces, or the field of view when focusing.

Constructed from robust black anodized aluminum, the sturdy metal housing ensures durability. A milled and knurled focusing ring facilitates straightforward and precise fine focusing. The scope comes complete with matching tube clamps and a Synta-style mounting plate, simplifying assembly and disassembly.
