These solar filters ensure safe, full aperture (sometimes referred to as clear aperture) coverage, optimizing light transmission into the telescope for superior daytime viewing, particularly in conditions of minimal atmospheric turbulence. To address turbulence, a mask can be applied over the filter's end to effectively reduce the aperture size.

Crafted with precision, this premium solar filter features an aluminum cell securely centered to the telescope tube using nylon thumb screws and felt padding. The clear aperture is meticulously crafted from high-quality reflective-coated glass, hand-selected and inspected for superior durability and performance. Providing a natural yellowish-orange image of the Sun, this filter is suitable for both direct viewing through the telescope and photography.

For enhanced protection and durability, the filter comes in a foam-lined box, offering shock absorption during handling and safe storage when not in use.
