The new Series-5 ED range from Barr and Stroud is crafted for the most discerning observer.

Building upon the strengths of the standard Series-5, the incorporation of Extra Low Dispersion (ED) glass delivers unparalleled images characterized by high definition, rich contrast, and superb color fidelity. The magnesium body ensures exceptional robustness while maintaining a lightweight design for comfortable handling. From the moment you adjust the rubber-clad metal twist-up eyecups to your first glimpse through the superior phase-coated optics, the refinement and quality of these binoculars are apparent. With a wide field of view, you can capture even more of the action with ease. The generously long eye relief of the eyepieces makes them highly suitable for spectacle wearers.

Designed to withstand the elements, these binoculars are waterproof up to a depth of 1.5m of water for three minutes, allowing ample time for retrieval in case of accidental immersion. The water-repellent lens coating ensures that water simply runs off the objective lens surface upon contact.

All Series-5 models come complete with tethered lens caps, a rainguard, strap, and protective carrying case.
