Description

ED Objective Lenses: The TrailSeeker ED binoculars feature Extra-Low Dispersion (ED) glass, effectively eradicating chromatic aberration, commonly known as color fringing, which often plagues binoculars. TrailSeeker ED ensures edge-to-edge sharpness with remarkable color correction, delivering razor-sharp images.

Not all ED glass is created equal. Celestron employs high-quality ED glass, providing noticeably brighter and sharper images compared to non-ED binoculars. This distinction becomes particularly evident in low-light conditions, such as dawn or dusk.

Coatings and Prisms: TrailSeeker ED boasts fully multi-coated optics and phase- and dielectric-coated BaK-4 prisms. A binocular earns the label "fully multi-coated" when all air-to-glass surfaces receive multiple layers of anti-reflectivity coatings, maximizing light transmission to the eye.

The prism within TrailSeeker ED utilizes premium BaK-4 glass with phase and dielectric coatings, ensuring more light is reflected off the prism and directed through the eye. The synergy of fully multi-coatings and BaK-4 prisms optimizes light transmission for the brightest, most detailed images attainable.

The Body: Constructed from lightweight yet durable magnesium alloy, TrailSeeker ED features a robust, rubber-coated frame designed to withstand rugged field use. Additionally, the binocular is fully waterproof and nitrogen-filled to prevent internal lens fogging, making it resilient in challenging outdoor conditions.

Observation Comfort: TrailSeeker ED offers comfortable viewing for both eyeglass and non-eyeglass wearers, courtesy of its robust twist-up eyecups. Adjust through multiple click stops to find your preferred position.

Versatile Applications: With its close focus capability, TrailSeeker ED is ideal for observing birds, butterflies, plants, or other nearby subjects. However, it also offers the necessary magnification for excellent views of distant subjects, coupled with a wide field of view for easy tracking of moving objects. Whatever your observation preference, this versatile binocular excels across the board.

Observation Accessories: TrailSeeker ED comes equipped with both a neck strap and a carrying harness, providing the flexibility to choose your preferred carrying method. Furthermore, it is tripod adaptable, allowing mounting on any standard photographic tripod for extended viewing or digiscoping sessions. (Tripod adapter sold separately.) The binocular also includes a protective soft case for convenient storage or transport.
