BA310MET Series: A Comprehensive Metallurgical Microscope Solution

The BA310MET series stands as a robust line of incident light microscopes, offering both affordability and powerful performance. Designed to meet the demands of industrial quality control for opaque materials such as minerals and metal samples, it also excels in educational settings within engineering and material professions.

In industrial environments, reliability and ease of use are paramount. Motic has meticulously addressed these needs to optimize the BA310MET's functionality. The Epi-Illuminator, equipped with a 12V/50W Halogen illumination system, delivers adjustable and potent lighting suitable for all reflective samples. Additionally, easy bulb replacement allows for versatility with LED modules available in different color temperatures (4500K, 6000K). With built-in field and aperture diaphragms, image quality is optimized by reducing stray light and enhancing contrast.

The BA310MET incorporates Motic's new Long-Working Distance LM Plan objectives, ensuring optimal image contrast through a multi-layer lens coating. Coupled with a fully corrected tube lens, this setup eliminates color fringes, providing digital images as sharp as those seen through the eyepieces. The design includes a standardized ISO photo exit and offers options for various stage sizes and configurations to accommodate different applications, including transmitted light usage.

For maximum sample size compatibility, the BA310MET-H model is recommended. Motic introduces a new generation of Metallurgical LM Plan objectives for the BA310MET series, featuring Plan Achromatic objectives made of high-quality glass. These objectives follow the successful Motic CCIS® Optical concept, ensuring improved contrast and image quality. The ball bearing 5-fold nosepiece guarantees parcentration and repeatability with every magnification change, enhancing user experience and efficiency.
