Description

The MaxFR series is specifically optimized for astrophotography with very fast telescopes, such as the Celestron RASA systems or Takahashi's Epsilon astrographs. These filters are designed to perform exceptionally well with fast optical systems, ensuring precise and detailed imaging of deep-sky objects.

This series includes narrowband filters for the three key emission lines in astrophotography: OIII, H-alpha, and SII. Each filter offers a full width at half maximum (FWHM) of 12nm or 6nm, enabling astrophotographers to isolate specific wavelengths for enhanced contrast and clarity. With a high transmission rate of 85%, these filters allow for efficient light capture while minimizing unwanted interference.

Applications and Features

The MaxFR filters are ideal for capturing nebulae and other deep-sky objects through astrophotography. They are specifically designed for photographic use and are not intended for visual observation. As part of the MaxFR line, these filters combine durable aluminum mounts with advanced MRF coatings to deliver reliable performance for astrophotographers using fast telescopes.
