Description
- High Light Transmission and Contrast: The low number of lens elements ensures extremely clear images with minimal distortion. Stars remain perfectly sharp not only at the center but also at the edges of the field of view.
- Multi-Coating for Reduced Reflections: Internal reflections are minimized, making it easy to separate close double stars and observe intricate planetary details.
- Parfocal Design: Switching between eyepieces requires almost no refocusing, ensuring a seamless observing experience.
The orthoscopic eyepiece consists of a plano-convex lens paired with a triplet, resulting in only four air-to-glass surfaces. The interior is fully blackened to suppress stray light effectively, while the hard-anodized barrel features an internal thread for attaching filters.
The Q-Barlow lens offers flexible magnification options:
- When screwed into the Barlow barrel, it provides 2.25× the focal length.
- When attached directly to an eyepiece's filter thread, it increases magnification by a factor of 1.3.
