Baader Filters 1.25" methane filter (20197)

The Baader methane band filter is designed for imaging astronomical objects, particularly planets, using webcams and CCD cameras. It is not suitable for visual observation because the human eye is not sensitive to the spectral range covered by this filter. This filter is ideal for capturing methane absorption features in planetary atmospheres, such as those of Jupiter, Saturn, and Uranus.
