This Herschel wedge is the ideal solution for sharp solar observing and photography in white light. It is available in two versions: 'V' for visual applications and 'P' for photographic use.

The Herschel wedge operates by utilizing only 4.6% of the incoming light for observation, while the majority of the high-energy light exits through the housing. This outgoing beam forms a focal point in mid-air and remains intensely bright even beyond this point. Caution must be taken to ensure no one accidentally or deliberately looks into the outgoing beam.
