Baader RCC I Rowe coma corrector (20656)
The RCC I (Rowe Coma Corrector) is a high-performance coma corrector designed by Dave Rowe, featuring a triplet lens system specifically for F4 Newtonian telescopes. It is ideal for photographic Newtonian systems where an off-axis guider is used between the corrector and the camera sensor. The RCC I ensures precise correction of coma, maintaining sharp star images across the entire field of view without altering the image scale or aperture ratio.

Description
The RCC I (Rowe Coma Corrector) is a high-performance coma corrector designed by Dave Rowe, featuring a triplet lens system specifically for F4 Newtonian telescopes. It is ideal for photographic Newtonian systems where an off-axis guider is used between the corrector and the camera sensor. The RCC I ensures precise correction of coma, maintaining sharp star images across the entire field of view without altering the image scale or aperture ratio. Its design makes it compatible with CCD cameras, filter wheels, and adaptive optics systems, offering unmatched flexibility for astrophotography.
The RCC I works superbly with Newtonians from F3.5 to F6, achieving optimal performance at F4. Unlike many other coma correctors that act as weak Barlow lenses and increase focal length, the RCC maintains a 1:1 image scale. For direct camera connections using a T-ring (without an off-axis guider), the VariLock 46 T2 extender is recommended, allowing precise adjustment of the ideal chip distance of 91.5 mm. The RCC's three-lens system features Phantom Group Coating on all glass-to-air surfaces for maximum light transmission and minimal reflections.
The knurled stop ring can be removed to allow deeper insertion into the focuser, making it adaptable to various setups.
