Baader Counterweight CDP 6kg (15450)

Baader CDP Counterweights are robust and durable accessories made from solid V2A stainless steel, designed for telescope mounts. These counterweights feature a pressed-in aluminum insert, making them compatible with shafts ranging from 40 to 56 mm in diameter. The stainless steel construction ensures resistance to rust, scratches, and dents, making them ideal for outdoor use without requiring painting or coating. The standard version includes a 40 mm mounting hole, while custom sizes up to 56 mm can be requested at an additional cost.

Each counterweight includes a "Camera Docking Port" (CDP), which features a slightly protruding area with a 47 mm diameter and a 0.25" threaded hole for attaching accessories such as tripod ball-heads or tangential assemblies like the 'Witty1' head. Quick balancing is achieved through a knurled hand-wheel, while final clamping can be secured using the recessed Allen socket with a Hex key.
