Baader CDP Counterweights are precision-crafted from solid V2A stainless steel, offering exceptional durability and resistance to rust, scratches, and dents. These counterweights are designed for use with shafts ranging from 40 to 56 mm in diameter, thanks to a pressed-in aluminum insert. The standard version includes a 40 mm mounting hole, but custom sizes up to 56 mm can be requested at an additional cost.

Stainless steel provides a slight surface roughness but eliminates the need for painting or coating, ensuring long-lasting performance even in outdoor environments. Unlike traditional steel weights, which may experience rusting in the locking screw threads over time, these V2A stainless steel counterweights remain corrosion-free, even in sensitive areas.

The "Camera Docking Port" (CDP) feature includes a slightly protruding area with a 47 mm diameter and a 0.25" threaded hole (photo thread), allowing for the attachment of accessories like tripod ball-heads or tangential assemblies such as the 'Witty1' head. Quick balancing is achieved using a knurled hand-wheel, while final clamping can be secured with a recessed Allen socket and Hex key.
