Bresser Telescope AC 60/900 Classic AZ (57045)

The classic Fraunhofer refractor features a fully coated objective, providing clear and high-contrast images. Its relatively long focal length minimizes chromatic aberration (color error), making it ideal for observing bright celestial objects such as the Moon, Venus, Mars, Jupiter, and Saturn. This refractor is particularly well-suited for planetary observation. Additionally, with a reversing lens, it can also be used effectively for terrestrial (nature) observation.

Bright deep-sky objects outside the solar system, such as the Orion Nebula and the Hercules Cluster, can also be observed.

The telescope’s lightweight design, convenient eyepiece positioning, and intuitive operation make it an excellent first telescope for children and young beginners in astronomy.

The AZ-1 Mount

The AZ-1 mount is a favorite among beginners due to its simplicity and ease of use. The telescope can be smoothly moved in both azimuth (horizontal) and elevation (vertical) directions. Unlike equatorial mounts, this mount does not require prior alignment, allowing users to set up quickly and begin observing immediately. Simply set up the tripod and mount, attach the telescope, and start exploring!

Both axes can be locked to keep objects in the field of view once located. A fine adjustment mechanism allows precise movement in elevation. The mount comes with a height-adjustable aluminum tripod for stability and comfort during observations.
