Description
The traditional company Bresser offers telescopes under the Messier brand, providing an excellent price-performance ratio for ambitious beginners. These Messier telescope systems are expandable and retrofittable, making them suitable for use well beyond the initial entry point.
Bresser Messier AC 127
The Messier AC 127 is a versatile telescope with a short focal length, delivering large and bright fields of view. It is ideal for observing objects such as the Andromeda Galaxy, located at an astonishing distance of 2 million light-years. The glow of this galaxy is breathtaking, as are views of large nebulae through the Messier AC 127. Thanks to its large aperture, this telescope supports the use of nebular filters, which can significantly enhance the contrast of emission nebulae. Its short tube and rigid mount make it perfect for quick and easy observation sessions, especially when portability is required.
This model comes equipped with the improved Hexafoc focuser, featuring a free aperture of 65 mm. For photography enthusiasts, it can be upgraded with a 1:10 reduction ratio fine focuser (available as an accessory), allowing for more precise focus adjustments.
A solar filter is included to enable safe observation of the Sun.
Bresser EXOS-2 Mounting
The EXOS-2 is a robust mounting system with a high load capacity (up to 13 kg for visual use and 10 kg for astrophotography). It provides precise tracking for both visual observations and astrophotography. Double radial ball bearings ensure smooth operation, while optimized RA axes reduce play. This sturdy and precisely crafted mount makes it easy to begin astrophotography. Additionally, a motorized 2-axis control can be added.
Included with the EXOS-2 Mount:
-
Sturdy mounting
-
Matching counterweight
-
Robust steel tripod with three legs
GoTo System for EXOS-2
The GoTo system simplifies celestial observations, even for beginners. By pressing a button, the telescope automatically moves to your selected celestial object (planet, nebula, or galaxy) and tracks it continuously. The database contains over 100,000 objects, allowing you to observe or photograph faint objects without needing advanced location skills.
