Bresser Camera Guiding Kit AR90/500 (56651)

This universal tracking kit is an excellent solution for long-term astrophotography with active tracking control (autoguiding). It is easy to assemble and includes everything you need: a guide scope, a tracking camera, and a prism clamp.

The guide scope has a 90mm aperture and a 500mm focal length. The prism clamp can be mounted on the carrying handle of BRESSER Messier or EXPLORE SCIENTIFIC telescopes using the included screws. Once attached, the AR90/500 guide scope and tracking camera can be securely aligned parallel to the main telescope. The tracking camera connects directly to the ST-4 compatible autoguider port on your telescope mount. Simply connect the camera to your Windows computer via USB, install the camera drivers and autoguider software, and you’re ready to begin astrophotography.

The prism clamp features 2 x 6mm countersunk holes (35mm spacing) and 3 additional 1/4" photo-tapped holes, making it adaptable to various telescopes and adapter plates. The tracking camera is ideal for autoguiding, planetary imaging, and even capturing deep-sky objects.

Full HD Camera Features:
The included tracking camera uses the advanced SONY IMX290 CMOS sensor with back-illuminated technology. This sensor offers high light sensitivity, allowing it to capture deep-sky objects without active cooling. With up to 77% quantum efficiency at a wavelength of 533nm, it significantly outperforms older CMOS sensors.

The built-in ST-4 port allows direct connection to your telescope mount for long exposure times of several minutes. Thanks to its high sensitivity, you’ll always have a suitable guiding star available, even with short exposure times. The ST-4 connecting cable is included for easy setup and automatic tracking.

Note: Autoguider software is not included in this kit. Compatible software options include PHD Guiding, Guidedog, Metaguide, Guidemaster (Freeware), or AstroArt and MaxIm DL (chargeable).
