Description

The Nebula mount is a precise and quiet telescope mount, perfectly suited for astrophotography. Its controller box provides multiple central connectivity options for accessories such as cameras, filter wheels, and motor focusers via USB (2.0/3.0), simplifying the setup of a professional astrophotography system.

Made in Italy, this mount combines innovation and quality. The manufacturer’s extensive experience in mount construction ensures a high-end device with excellent functionality and reliability. The in-house development team in Italy offers quick technical support and adapts new device drivers as needed, making this a truly professional-grade product.

Control System:
The Nebula mount is operated using pre-installed web-app software accessible via WiFi or Ethernet cable. The GoTo system eliminates the need for a standard PC, allowing control via smart devices such as smartphones or tablets. Traditional computers can also be connected via wired or wireless connections.

The BRESSER Nebula GoTo Controller is powered by a Raspberry Pi 4 microcomputer, enabling complete control of the setup (mount, camera, etc.) without requiring additional external devices. The system includes all Linux-based applications necessary for astrophotography, and the INDI environment supports control of various devices such as cameras, filter wheels, rotators, and observatory domes for local or remote astrophotography sessions.

For users who prefer traditional computer client applications, the system is compatible with software such as Cart du Ciel (Star Chart), TheSkyX, SkySafari, Stellarium, SGP, Nina, CCD Ciel, and other astrophotography tools. This compatibility is ensured through the Alpaca communication protocol, allowing ASCOM platform drivers to work seamlessly with native INDI devices.

State-of-the-Art Mount Construction:
The Nebula mounts are CNC-manufactured from stainless steel and aluminum for durability and precision. Designed by a renowned Italian manufacturer, these mounts are lightweight yet stable. Despite weighing only 13 kg (including the tripod), the mount supports a high load capacity of up to 20 kg.

Visual Observation:
For visual use, the mount can be controlled using the included hand control box or through a smartphone or tablet connected via WiFi. The user interface is simple and intuitive to ensure easy operation. All adjustment parameters can also be configured via the web application.

Astrophotography Strengths:
The Nebula mount excels in both mobile and stationary setups. Remote operation is supported via WiFi or Ethernet cable (recommended for faster data transfer). The pre-installed KStars/EKOS software allows you to control the mount and external devices such as cameras, motor focusers, and filter wheels. Alternatively, you can use your preferred software applications like Cart du Ciel (Star Chart), TheSkyX, SkySafari, Stellarium, SGP, Nina, or CCD Ciel without compatibility issues.

2-in-1 Mount with EQ and AZ Modes:
The Nebula mount can switch between equatorial (EQ) mode and azimuthal (AZ) mode as needed. This versatility makes it suitable not only for astronomy but also for nature observation or satellite tracking.

Dual Optics Setup:
The mount allows attachment of up to two optical systems by replacing the counterweight bar with another telescope. In azimuthal mode, you can use the second telescope as a counterweight to balance the main telescope.
