Its illumination and observation system includes a halogen lamp (20 W) with dimmer, a field diaphragm for Köhler illumination, a 360° rotatable polarizer to generate polarized light, and an analyzer attachment for analyzing polarized light. The analyzer attachment accommodates a 360° rotatable analyzer and accessories such as the Bertrand lens (for conoscopy), quartz wedge, λ plate, and λ/4 plate for special color effects. The trinocular head is inclined at 30° and holds wide-field WF10x eyepieces with adjustable eye relief and diopter settings. These features ensure bright, sharp, true-color images rich in detail.
