Once installed, the ring can remain permanently attached, eliminating the need for daily mounting and removal.

How It Works:
The heated ring replaces the plastic retaining ring on your telescope’s Schmidt plate and efficiently heats the front lens. Constructed from lightweight and durable aluminum, the rigid frame supports both the Schmidt plate and your telescope’s cabling. Unlike traditional heated strips that warm the entire lens cell inefficiently, this ring delivers heat directly to the Schmidt plate for maximum efficiency. Simply connect it to a 12V DC power source to provide uniform, continuous heat, effectively preventing dew even in high-humidity environments.
