The heated dew-prevention ring is an effective solution for keeping your telescope’s Schmidt plate free from dew. By sitting directly on the Schmidt plate, it provides targeted heating to prevent misting. Once installed, the ring can remain permanently attached, eliminating the need for daily mounting and removal.

How It Works:
The heated ring replaces the plastic retaining ring on your telescope’s Schmidt plate and efficiently heats the front lens. Made from lightweight and durable aluminum, the rigid frame supports both the Schmidt plate and your telescope’s cabling. Unlike traditional heated strips that inefficiently warm the entire lens cell, this ring delivers heat directly to the Schmidt plate for maximum efficiency. Simply connect it to an external 12V DC power source to provide a uniform and continuous heat supply, effectively preventing dew even in high-humidity conditions.
