Geoptik Losmandy GK-8 prism clamp (57010)

The innovative GK-8 system is designed to make balancing your telescope effortless and precise. It features a rack fixed to the dovetail plate and a pinion inside the clamp, allowing you to move the telescope smoothly, even by just a few millimeters, without any risk of slipping. The system includes a Losmandy-style plate on the bottom, which fits any clamp of this standard.

Full rack plates are available for this system, but it is also possible to adapt other Geoptik plates or plates you already own. The GK-8 Clamp can be mounted onto any Losmandy-style clamp without needing to remove the original. It is compatible with AVX, EQ6, and AZ-EQ6 mounts using an optional connecting flange. Additionally, it can be mounted directly onto Losmandy mounts or HEQ5 and AZ-EQ5 mounts without requiring an adapter.
