StellarMate X is a compact and powerful astrophotography controller designed to support a wide range of mounts, cameras, and other astronomical equipment. Built by astrophotographers for astrophotographers, it leverages open-source technologies to provide seamless control and automation of your observatory. StellarMate X is compatible with major platforms, allowing you to use the Ekos astrophotography tool on Windows, macOS, or Linux, or the StellarMate App on iOS and Android. It simplifies astrophotography by enabling users to connect their equipment via USB or WiFi and control it remotely from mobile devices, tablets, or computers.

This advanced controller is four times faster than its predecessor, StellarMate Plus, with double the storage and memory capacity. It operates silently with no moving parts and features passive cooling technology for efficient thermal dissipation. StellarMate X also comes with a VESA mount for secure attachment to standard dovetails and clamps, making it versatile for various setups.

Mount Adapter:
The included mount adapter attaches to the back of StellarMate X using two M3 screws. It provides threads for connecting external rings or dovetails via the included four M6 screws. For secure attachment to Vixen/Losmandy dovetails, the Ikarus Universal Vixen/Losmandy Clamp (sold separately) is recommended.

Mount Connections:
Depending on your mount type, additional cables may be required for connection to StellarMate X. Mounts connected via WiFi or USB typically do not need special cables.

Learning Curve:
For new users without prior experience in astrophotography, using StellarMate X effectively may require some learning due to its extensive feature set. Video tutorials and manuals are currently available only in English, making this product more suitable for English-speaking and computer-savvy users.
