The KERN OBE-1 series is a collection of high-quality, fully-equipped compound microscopes designed for ease of use and ergonomic functionality. These microscopes feature a robust, continuously dimmable 3W LED light source that ensures optimal illumination and long service life. Certain models also support mobile use with rechargeable batteries. The height-adjustable 1.25 ABBE condenser with an aperture diaphragm provides excellent light concentration, while the mechanical stage allows for precise height adjustments using coarse and fine focusing knobs on both sides. The ergonomic coaxial drive enables rapid and efficient sample manipulation.

This series offers a variety of accessories, including different eyepieces, lenses, a simple polarization unit, and a dark field kit. A protective dust cover, eye cups, and multilingual user instructions are included with the microscope. For the trinocular version, a C-mount adapter is required to connect a camera. The OBE-1 series is also available in sets of 10 for group use.
