The fluorescence microscopes in the OBN series are built on the high quality and versatility that define this range. With an outstanding, stable design and high-quality optics, these microscopes set the standard for fluorescence microscopy in their class. The powerful, dimmable 20W halogen illumination unit (Philips) and a 100W Epi-fluorescence illumination unit (OBN 147/OBN 148) provide optimal illumination and excitation for fluorescence samples. Alternatively, the OBN 141 model offers a fluorescence microscope with a 3W LED transmitted illumination unit and a 3W LED Epi-fluorescence incident illumination unit.

This series features professional Koehler illumination with an adjustable field diaphragm and a height-adjustable, centerable 1.25 Abbe condenser with an adjustable aperture diaphragm. The large mechanical stage table, combined with ergonomic coaxial coarse and fine focusing knobs on both sides, ensures precise sample adjustments. The OBN 147/OBN 148 halogen models include a filter wheel with up to six fittings, pre-configured with B/G or B/G/UV/V fluorescence filters. The OBN 141 LED variant is equipped with a B/G fluorescence filter and a changeover slider for quick filter adjustments. Modular construction allows for easy integration of eyepieces, objectives, color filters, darkfield condensers, polarizing units, phase contrast units, and more.

Each microscope comes with a centering objective for fluorescence adjustment, protective dust cover, eye cups, and multilingual user instructions. A C-mount adapter is required to connect a camera and can be selected from the model outfit list.
