The KERN OBS-1 series is a reliable and straightforward range of school microscopes designed for ease of use with intuitive control elements. These microscopes feature an infinitely dimmable 0.5W LED light source, ensuring optimal illumination of samples and a long service life. They are suitable for mobile use, thanks to the option of rechargeable batteries. The OBS 101 model includes a simple 0.65 condenser lens with a rotating aperture diaphragm disc for effective light concentration, while the OBS 104 and OBS 106 models are equipped with a height-adjustable 1.25 Abbe condenser with an aperture diaphragm for precise illumination.

All models include coarse and fine focusing knobs on both sides for easy object focusing. A wide selection of eyepieces and objectives is available to customize the microscope further. This series is also offered in sets of 10 for group use.
