Lunt Solar Systems 50/350 LS50THa/B600PT Solar telescope (44941)

A front-mounted, unobstructed Etalon filter provides a bandwidth of less than 0.75 Angstrom, making it possible to safely observe solar prominences and surface details. Its extremely compact design makes this telescope an excellent choice for travel. The diagonal mirror includes a built-in blocking filter and is equipped with a helical focuser for 1.25” eyepieces.

There are two versions of this model: one with a B400 blocking filter and another with a larger B600 blocking filter. The B600 version is described here, and the difference is only visible on the label.

Double stacking is possible, reducing the bandwidth to less than 0.5 Angstrom. The LS50C Double Stack filter, designed for this purpose, can be directly attached to the LS50THa telescope, providing much greater detail and contrast on the Sun’s surface.

Standard LS50FHa and LS60FHa double stack filters can also be used with the LS50THa by using the LS150/50 adapter.
