The Lunt Solar Systems LS60FHa B600 2" etalon filter system is a front-mounted H-alpha filter designed for use on refractor telescopes, transforming them into high-contrast solar telescopes. With a 60mm aperture and no central obstruction, this system allows you to observe the Sun’s surface and edge features, such as prominences, in remarkable detail. The included B600 blocking filter is suitable for telescopes with focal lengths up to 540mm and is housed in a 2" star diagonal, making it compatible with 2" focusers and also accommodating 1.25" eyepieces and T2 camera connections. The filter system is easily removable, so your telescope can be used for standard nighttime observation when not viewing the Sun. For users seeking even higher resolution and contrast, a double-stack etalon can be added to further reduce the bandwidth.
